Yippee! We can reveal that the Omlet Advent calendar prize today is... (quote) 'an original piece of art by Nicola Metcalfe. This prize is priceless. Painted eggsclusively for this competition, it is a one-of-a-kind watercolour illustration entitled 'Hentertainers'. Chickens, dressed in tutus, performing ballet, it really is eggstraordinary.'

Want to rub shoulders with Mary Berry at John Lewis, High Wycombe, this week-end?! Whilst she signs books, I will be running a colouring activity for adults and children based on a London map, the colour framed version of which is sold through John Lewis. We are encouraging everyone who needs a break from Christmas shopping to come along and indulge in the relaxing pastime of colouring-in. It's all the rage, you know! There may even be some penguins to find!
